Realme X3 SuperZoom is that the company’s latest smartphone that joins the X-series in India. It made its debut last month in Europe, alongside other products by Realme that are already available in India. The unique point of the X3 SuperZoom is its periscope camera that’s claimed to offer an optical zoom of 5X and a digital zoom of 60X, making it one of the few smartphones in India with such capabilities. Realme is also touting a Starry Mode on the X3 SuperZoom — something that we’ve seen before on Google Pixel 4 and Samsung Galaxy S20 smartphones.
The Chinese company has also launched a toned-down version called the X3. Which lacks the periscope zoom capabilities and comes with a telephoto sensor, instead.
Realme X3 SuperZoom Price in India
The Realme X3 SuperZoom comes in two configurations – the 8GB/128GB version costs Rs 27,999, the 12GB/256GB version is priced at Rs 32,999. It’s two colour options – Glacier Blue and Arctic White. The first sale of the X3 SuperZoom starts at 12 noon on June 30 on Flipkart and realme.com. The pre-orders for the smartphone start Thursday, June 25.

The Realme X3, on the other hand, has 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB storage variants, priced at Rs 24,999 and Rs 25,999, respectively. The smartphone also comes in Arctic White. it’ll continue sale starting June 30 on Flipkart and realme.com. The pre-orders for the X3 start Thursday, June 25.
The Realme X3 SuperZoom and X3 are very much alike in terms of their specifications apart from the storage configurations and the cameras. Unlike the other smartphones of Realme, the X3 SuperZoom brings an 8-MP periscope camera to the setup at the back that also features a 64-MP main camera, an 8-MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2-MP macro sensor. The periscope camera is claimed to offer a 5X optical zoom and 60x digital zoom. Which might be useful once you are capturing a shot from afar.
For selfies, the Realme X3 SuperZoom has a combination of a 32-megapixel Sony sensor and an 8-MP ultrawide sensor.
There is a 6.6-inch FHD+ (1080×2400 pixels) LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It’s protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and has a facet ratio of 90.5 percent. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC with eight cores clocked at up to 2.96GHz paired with Adreno 640.
It is a strange yet practical choice for the processor on a smartphone that belongs to Realme’s flagship-level smartphone series. Since the company already provides the X50 Pro with Snapdragon 865 SoC, it X3 SuperZoom justifies the pricing with only a touch less powerful processor. The smartphone includes a fingerprint sensor on the power button. It’s backed by a 4200mAh battery with 30W Dart Flash Charge technology.
The X3 borrows most of X3 SuperZoom’s specifications, except for the cameras. Instead of the 8-MP periscope camera, the Realme X3 includes a 12-MP telephoto sensor. That will offer zoom capabilities with little less efficiency comparatively. It even retains the Starry Mode on the 64-MP main sensor. In the front-camera department, the X3 has a 16-MP Sony wide-angle camera alongside an 8-MP ultrawide sensor.
